The Cosmogyny Collection is an exploration on the theme of goddess creationism. After reading several books on the topic such as The Chalice and The Blade by Riane Eisler, The Great Cosmic Mother by Monica Sjoo & Barbara Moor, and The Feminine Face of God by Sherry Ruth Anderson; I have come to the conclusion that we’ve been fed a load of lies. Goddess worship was prevalent long before the patriarchal sky god religions came into play. I feel that this information is absolutely vital for the times we are living in, since so much destruction & violence towards humanity and the planet is justified by religion. The paintings in this collection are reflections on the nature of a goddess theology.
