Hi, I’m Kate! I’m an abstract artist that loves to weave, paint, and write. My work is deeply rooted in the traditions of goddess-centered spirituality, the rhythms of the natural world, the language of archetypes, and the mysteries of the psyche. My art practice and spirituality are intertwined…the physical art I create is a channeling process bridging the ethereal and material.

Each piece I create is a living prayer and material portal…a conversation between hands, fibers or paints, and unseen forces. Inspired by animism, I see every material as carrying a soul, and every woven or painted form as a vessel for allowing spiritual intentions to become manifest in the material realm. Creating art, for me, is not just craft; it is ritual, myth, and medicine.

Working with plants and natural materials is also something I really enjoy. I’m excited to announce the opening of my new apothecary, Sage & Spindle! Most of my products come from wild foraged materials that I find in the mountains near where I live. I work with the wheel of the year and my apothecary offerings will change with the seasons.

In my free time I love to spend time in nature, reading, baking, spending time with my family, and observing & enjoying the change of the seasons. I live in the Rocky Mountains with my husband, two children, dog, and many many rescue cats.
