THE CALLIEACH // Woven Wall Art
The Cailleach is an ancient Celtic goddess of winter, and she was channeled through this weaving to help bring in the death of old, oppressive systems. The three pillars of oppression; capitalism, patriarchy, and racism; are the growth at the end of her staff. Woven into this piece are knot & fiber spells, along with incantations for oppressive systems to coil into the ground and toil into the throes of winter.
