This shawl is a woven portal for the healing energy of bear spirit to come through and help heal the wearer. 🐻〰️
Bear is a spirit that looks after and protects women & children. She helps to ease some of the heavy burdens of motherhood we face in this capitalistic & patriarchal society that does not adequately support mothers. She is both fierce and soft at the same time. Bear is a fierce protector. She views motherhood and children as incredibly sacred…callings of love from the Great Mother herself. Bear is nurturing, protective, steadfast, grounding, and an amazing healer. The blue spiral is an embroidered sigil I see often when working in the spirit realm with bear. This piece has a lot of lovely homespun locs to give it some added texture.
All shawls will be washed and blessed with sacred oil before being sent off to their new home.
Measures approximately 21” x 98”. For height reference I am 5’6 tall.
Care instructions: Hand wash gently with cold water & a wool friendly soap and lay flat to dry.
